I like that these authors told a different kind of street tale We never get to see the drug game from this perspective one person selling out and snitching to save his her own skin isn t something that s discussed in the African American community therefore it s fairly absent from the literature While the story was interesting I must admit that the writing was subpar at best These authors don t read often apparently because if they did I am most certain they would have written their novel much better The conversations in the novel aren t well written For example a character will be having a conversation about one thing in a paragraph and then have a conversation about something completely different in the following paragraph This is so aggravating and really discouraged me from reading the book but the plot was quite interesting and I was able to hold on In summary this is an interesting tale but the writing is so bad that if you do not have the patience to piece together the events and actions of each character you will want to pass on Flippin the Game Flippin The Game
