The Sweetest RevengePembalasan Termanis kindle book The second thing is the hero He recalls what the hurt was he caused the heroine On his 21st birthday he was given the heroine s watch and then received another watch by another female He chose to put on the other female s watch and disregarded the heroine s watch Hence the hurt and humiliation But as we learn in the conflict resolution the hero pulls out of his pocket the watch Nine years later he still holds the watch As a romantic I should be melting But somehow I didn t It s irrelevant I suppose but I was a little baffled Does he wear it He just happened to have it Or because of what happened before the big conflict had him retrieving it from whatever spot he d put it in for safekeeping On top of that I agree with what the heroine said She asked him if he was upset by how he acted whyd did he never seek her out in the nine years they were separated His reply is reasonable but still I couldn t help but think really After the big resolution the heroine realizes what she has done and it s her turn to feel bad I m not a fan of these types of novels Where one character is the wronged party but somehow in the end it s flipped and that wronged party becomes the person who has done a wrong I guess I don t care for these novels because in books that involve revenge or someone having been hurt by the other I invariably choose sides with a character Then I merely feel conflicted because I want to continue standing on that character s side but the author is forcing me all of a sudden to change gears That unsettles me as a reader and I can t enjoy the happy ending.
