Book Paradise illustrated J Enright is a very clever writer These poems have great rhythm rhyme and alliteration His use of wordplay was extremely clever and entertaining He uses these literary tools to give his poems depths of meaning Many seem simple when first read but on a second read and thought you will discover deeper meanings in each poem The tone of this collection which primarily focuses on the fall of man ranges from clever to satirical to scathing D. Book Paradise illustrated J Enright did not approach this topic ignorantly he knows what he is writing about and uses his biblical knowledge to better this book Generally each poem is entertaining and humorous many are thought provoking as well There were few if any bad poems in this collection some just shown brighter then others I would suggest picking this up if you like different views on religion or if you like satire This was very good and I would pick up another of his books 9780701123208
